My name is Galyna Konstantynivska but I am also known as "Galli" by my art.

I was born in 1951 in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. I graduated from Kiev State Institute of Arts and Design. After many years of being a successful fashion designer and interior decorator, I finally returned to my first love, painting.

I have had solo art exibits in several Art Galleries in Moscow and Kiev. Some of my paintings are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Austria, France, Israel and Canada.

I came to Canada in 2009, and once the difficulty of settling into a new land at a mature age had dissipated, I began to paint again.

Now I live and work in Toronto, Ontario and call Canada my home. I love to paint various parts of Canada as seen in some of my landscapes. I try to express my admiration of the supernatural beauty all around us. My dream is to see this beautiful country everywhere and in all seasons, and express that beauty on canvas.

I love to paint flowers and landscapes and my preferred medium is oil on canvas. I have a special unique style of painting, and I like to use bright and joyful colours.
